Quality Control/Quality Assurance Supervisor

Rimtec Corporation, located in Burlington, NJ., has a full-time supervisory opening for a Quality Control/Quality Assurance Supervisor. Rimtec Corporation is a subsidiary of Riken Americas Corporation and a premier leader in the PVC industry.

Schedule: Rotate shifts monthly. Day Shift Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Night Shift Flexible: Monday – Friday: 9:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m. or 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. (Must be able to workday/evening shifts, rotating monthly)

• Job Summary: Coordinate and supervises quality assurance and quality control practices to develop processes that produce products which meet our customers’ requirements. Monitoring inspection and testing activities of Quality Control Technicians, to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in chemistry, or related scientific field from a four-year college or university.
• Minimum of two years of related experience, in a manufacturing environment. One year’s supervisory experience required. Experience working in a PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) compounding environment a plus.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt desired.
•  In-depth knowledge of quality control/quality assurance procedures and legal standards. 
• Strong knowledge of math, data analysis, and statistical methods.
• Must demonstrate leadership skills.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and proficiency in other Microsoft Office 365 applications or related programs.
• Must be able to promote positive relationships and encourage teamwork through positive communication between all team members.
• Must have excellent analytical skills.
• Must have strong prioritization skills.
• Must be detail oriented and result focused.
• Proficient in time management with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and flexibility required.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels in the organization.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate tasks when needed.
